The main results:
In research units of the Quantum Radiophysics department, the basic principles of Laser Physics have been developed, a laser thermonuclear fusion has been proposed, electron and optical pumped semiconductor lasers, injection lasers, excimer and electroionization lasers have been obtained for the first time. A method of wavefront reversal has been discovered and developed. Laser frequency standards and different methods of optical information processing have been also developed.
