General Information
Shared Facility Centre for Studies of High Temperature Superconductors and other Strongly Correlated Materials (SFC LPI) was established in 2004 as a structural research unit of LPI. The main aim of SFC LPI is to provide researchers access to experimental studies using CFC research equipment. More specifically, to perform research under extreme conditions of ultralow temperatures, strong magnetic fields, at ambient and high pressures and high electric fields.
Research Directions:
- Physics of strong electron-electron correlations
- Nanostructures and low-dimensional systems
- Physics of Superconductivity and High-Temperature Superconductivity
- Organic molecular structures and low-dimensional compounds
- Development of novel experimental techniques
